Why do you think so many women have difficulty managing their weight and wellness through the menopause continuum?  

It’s not what you think.  Two fundamental things make the menopause transition so challenging: stereotypes and non-preparedness.   

Hormonal change has been shrouded with disempowering stereotypes, such as:

  • You'll gain weight and get the dreaded “menopause middle.”
  • You'll feel like you turn into an inferno ten times a day.
  • You'll walk around feeling crabby, about to snap at anyone who says “hello.”
  • You'll think "sex?"  No interest.

And as far as being prepared...

Remember the book “Are You There God, It’s Me, Margaret?” Did you ever ask yourself why we are uber-prepared for puberty, but when it comes to “reverse-puberty,” CRICKETS!!  We need an “Are You There God, It’s Me, Menopause.”

Hi, I'm Dorian.

I coach women to live on the Better Side in bodies they love.

When I was 47, I recognized that most of my clients over age 40 had one common complaint: sudden and uncontrollable weight gain.  And nothing they did helped...not even things that worked in the past.

I soon understood that this weight gain was the most impactful effect of hormonal change for most women to their bodies and their spirits.

So I set out on a mission to find a solution.  I created my methodology as I was experiencing my journey through the menopausal continuum.   

Today, at 59, I happily continue to practice the methodology that empowers me to live in harmony (alongside my clients) with my ever-changing hormones.
