9 Steps To A More Positive Mindset

Are you a glass-half-empty or half-full kind of person?

Both types of mindset can impact your physical and mental health. A positive mind is powerful, and with the right attitude, you can achieve a lot in your life.

Live life from the inside out, not the other way around. That means you can control what happens to you by maintaining the right mind. Of course, it doesn't mean everything will always go how you want it, but you can confront it more easily by being positive.

Now that you know what developing a positive mindset can do, let's look at some daily steps to help you pursue a happy mind.

Step 1: Surround Yourself With Positive People

Being positive or negative is very contagious.

A positive person can light up a whole room and fill it with energy and good vibes. Surrounding yourself with positive people can improve your self-esteem and increase your chances of reaching your goals.

Being around positivity will lift you and help you see the bright side of...

Thinking Positive is Positive for Your Health

What is Positive Thinking?

Positive thinking is the practice of focusing on the good of any given situation. This does not mean you ignore the bad things that happen in life; it's how you deal with them. One who practices positive thinking looks at everything that happens in life and expects that all will go well and work in their favor. They believe the best will happen, not the worst. Visualize Your Goals!

What's Your WHY?

Having a vision for your future and wellness is essential to your success and meeting your goals. We do a lot of work finding the WHY for losing weight and living a healthier lifestyle. The why goes much deeper than what people think, so we have our clients journal about this until they drill down their own powerful WHY. For some, it's important to live a long healthy, active life for their children or grandchildren. For others, they're trying to prevent or slow the progression of heart disease or Alzheimer's that runs in their family. No matter what it is, it's specific to the individual and is the most important to them.

Vision Boards

In addition to working on the individual WHY of one's wellness journey, we do other mindset work at The Limitless Lifestyle Academy. One of the things we've enjoyed the most is working on a vision board. What is a vision board?

A Vision Board is a collage of images and words that you should display in a prominent place to remind...

August Superstar- Donna Parolie

Meet Donna

How did Donna go from focusing on quick weight loss to concentrating on her wellness as a whole? It was achievable by building a solid mindset and vision. Donna has been a member of Sphericality for about ten years. At that time, she needed something different than traditional exercise and was interested in yoga. Through the years, she would come to class but stop if life got in the way but always managed to find her way back to the studio and classes.

In August of 2020, she decided she needed more. Everyone was coming out of Covid lockdown, and she was doing the same thing as everyone else: wearing sweatpants, no makeup, hair in a ponytail, drinking Pina Coladas, and eating way too much!! In addition to coming out of lockdown, she knew she didn’t want to accept what her friends were feeling and saying. “Why don’t we accept who we are and be fat and happy. Life is too short to worry about this.”

She was frustrated with failed attempts at weight...
